The McGurk’s Bar Bombing: Loss of Innocence

Our film was released to coincide with the launch of our book, The McGurk’s Bar Bombing: Collusion, Cover-Up and a Campaign for Truth.

It was funded by the Community Relations council and filmed by Northern Visions.

It features the families themselves, recounting their experiences in their own words.

McGurk’s Bar Bombing by Ciarán MacAirt

This short digi-film was produced by Northern Visions TV and features Ciarán MacAirt, a grandson of Kathleen Irvine who was one of the 15 innocent victims of the bombing.

Ciarán is also author of the book, The McGurk’s Bar Bombing: Collusion, Cover-Up and a Campaign for Truth.

I believe every word of your film. It highlights why the RUC was “supposedly” abolished; replaced by an “impartial” PSNI. It looks like it has been hijacked by the latest Chief and ruc members never retired. I detest TWITTER and never used a forum that limits one.

Many thanks for your thoughts, Ellen. PSNI/RUC continue to be obstructive, for want of a better word. I believe the organisation is willfully perverting the course of justice in this case and hundreds of others.
      Regards,
      Ciarán
